Why is Audio so late?

I guess the big question I'm trying to answer by creating this app is: why hasn't there been an audio best social network before we went from text to images and then straight to video, with things like TickTock and Snapchat, there's never really been anything that was audio-based. There'S been a few things that popped up with audio and video in a multimedia experience, but it hasn't really been anything purely audio-based until the clubhouse came around, which is really odd, because you would think your people start out with really small Internet connections and then gradually They got faster and faster Internet connections specially on mobile devices. You would think that at some point it would've been easier to create a audio best social net work.
