Indie Maker Update
All right, this is probably my last Indie Maker update specifically for Indie.am. This will be my Indie Maker update in general then. So I've basically completed all the features I wanted to complete for Indie.am. Most of this is around GPT and video generation and those things are working fairly well. Little tweaks and polish I'll continue to use the app and then make little tweaks, but pretty happy with where it is. This is more of one of those baseline things that I'm really happy that it exists again. I don't have to go through test flight and I want it just so I can publish my own audio blog and I'll use it and see how it turns out. Um, what I've been focusing on more lately is I'm working on a different app to stream music and working on some different creative pursuits. I've been writing music and recording streaming a couple games on YouTube, so that's been a lot of fun. Just trying to get in the mindset of creating content in different mediums and play around with it and see what I can learn from that. Um, I'm having a lot of fun. I've got like four or five of these capacitor framework seven view apps and everyone that I build feels a little bit more native and polished and I'm going back and forth between them and trying to like re-im plement the things I've learned from one app to the other and solving some issues like... For the PWA, I basically have to swap out framework 7 views router for view router to use view with framework 7 in a way that works and feels good and I forgot how to get all the animations and swipe back and everything to work. And I also usually just swap out like framework 7 store for PINA and I've moved away from any capacitor APIs unless I have to have them so that I can build the PWA straight from view and only on apps where I absolutely need the extra functionality. And I do a capacitor wrapper because you get a different output if you build like a PWA in view with framework 7 versus if you like a capacitor build that PWA it's completely different set of little works to the app. So I don't know this has been a lot of fun. I got to go back and update the mastodon client that I created. I want to get short video working for when TikTok shuts down a couple of days. Basically I have a TikTok style video feed inside of that app but I need to swap out view router for a framework 7 router to fix a few bugs and glitches in the way it works and then I can put that back up and other than that mostly I've been focusing on music right now. So maybe I'll share more of that in the next few days but as far as my indie maker update goes that's pretty much it. Thanks for listening. [BLANK_AUDIO]
